I have been given a procedure for welding ASTM A333 Gr6 to ASTM A350 LF2 (low temp carbon steel) and it states the use of ER70S-4 TIG wire and an argon purge. I am sure when I welded low temp before that I used ER80S wire and no purge, would it be ok to use ER70S on this.
